Fluon™ PFA

Melt-processable Fluoropolymer

Fluon™ PFA is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene (C₂F₄) and perfluoroalkylvinyl ether. PFA retains inherent characteristics and similar properties to PTFE but can be processed using thermoplastic techniques, such as injection molding, extrusion, and blow molding.
Fluon™ PFA is a highly functional fluorinated resin having excellent processability and moldability, making it ideal for use in various manufacturing fields, such as the chemical processing, electrical/electronic, and precision equipment industries.

    Fluon™ PFA is an outstanding electrical insulating material having extremely low dielectric constant and dielectric tangent. Using Fluon™ PFA for electrical components ensures their reliability.
  • Chemical Resistance
    Fluon™ PFA has high chemical stability and is not affected by most chemicals. Fluon™ PFA is ideal for molding materials of semiconductors that are constantly exposed to highly active chemicals.
  • Mechanical Strength Retention
    Fluon™ PFA retains high mechanical strength and can be used stably in a wide temperature range from -200 to +260°C.
